Actually we did nothing. I didn't know what all those tunnels were in the yard. Someone said it was from moles so I named them Sam and Molly Molone.

In the long term, the only real solution is to bury two feet worth of chicken wire or roofer's mesh along your fenceline. This blocks'm out. In the short term - taht subterranean varmint is drawn to your garden because it's nicely kept! Now if you let it go to crabgrass and thistle, a) you wouldn't have a mole b) if you did, you probably would be overcome with benign apathy c)your kids would still believe that tale about the chocolate center!
