During the political debates with Bush, Clinton lied repeatedly just to win voter favor. Probably, the worst one was "If I am elected, I will have the most ethical administration in history". If a candidate is going to use the forum of the debate to help perpetuate lies, then maybe we should not utilize this process as a way to evaluate potentially elected officials. Bush did point out, "How about character", but no one listened. Now, Clinton has demonstrated that character does matter.
