There is not much selling. All buying. This is a classic case of the MM's knowing that they have a comer and trying to milk it for as much as they can.

We were told it was restricted - Delmar received 60MM as he owned 85% of FAMC - He'll keep those as they secure his control of ARET. Shepherd and others received the remaining. Most IMO still needs an 144 to sell.
Only part going to the float IMO could be coming from ARET holding own shares. When Delmar personally acquired up to the 51% of TCC (thus keeping the minority status) there were a trade between ARET and Delmar - It's stated in the 10K as Delmar received the TCC shares for what ARET owed to him. The quantity of Delmar shares had been mentioned to be 60-80MM in the autumn - at new year it was 18MM (less than 15%) - He might have given shares to ARET before new year - and acquired the TCC shares by mar.31.98. So ARET holds 40-60MM of own shares for doing acquisitions / cash-flow. The 3 months slip is probably some TAX thing.

??Anyone with the knowledge if 144 is needed for a company to sell own issued shares??

Anyway - it is not the right time to do it - I do not expect that it is so.
