Micron's Inventory... Dave, 3dfx sells between 400k-500k chipsets per month. This would put the entire inventory at about 1 days worth of 3dfx production. It's kinda hard to say what it means without comparing to how many units they actually sell. If they are selling 10k-20K per month no big deal. If they are selling 1k per month...oops. On a similiar note, channel inventories are waaay down over her in Sacramento. Is is the same with you guys? I'm guessing nobody wants to have a large supply of Voodoo2 on the shelves when Banshee comes out (and TNT too I guess). The boardmakers are playing it conservative and this won't be very helpful for 3Q sales. Called STB but the CFO is out of town. Will talk to another executive later today or tomorrow. I plan on asking about V2 sellthrough, margin pressures, when they plan to officially announce Banshee (he, he). If/when they call back I'll post the results. Oh god...Naz down 65. Is that a record? David, Just browsed by to see who is still posting to the thread. The only people I recognize are you and Chip. I think you guys just love "a reason" to stay involved with the gaming scene. "Honey, I need to go down to CompUSA to do some 'investing research'."
