Ralph was really pounding the table on CNN/FN just now for a major bottom by October. Unfortunately (or is it fortunately?) his explanations of why this should be so made no logical sense whatever. Sounded like tea leaves to me.

I got in a bit too early on Spyders today, but it looks like I got lucky on my transfer of 401(k) funds, which is effective at the end of the day. I had 50% in the money market, and transferred those funds into an S%P 500 fund at a nice discount.

I'll say this, though, I'm sure glad I don't use margin anymore.
