when one of the so called top analysts came out today and said that the general trend to the market will be bearish for a while, it triggered a lot of program selling, and when that momentum gets going, you have the general stock holder who goes where the wind blows and he adds fuel to the fire. from the point, its like join em until you see the bottom and get back in later, the attitude becomes get back in lower instead of hold long term, and all they are doing is paying more commissions. possibly buying a little more stock, but the swinging axe was there today, very few stocks were spared. when the momentum shifts, stocks like csco will be the first ones to go back up fast, plus i would expect some further reiterations of strong buy recommendations soon as well. csco did their job for the quarter and should continue.

ps. dont be surprised if you see a big gap up in am, then a quick fast selloff then a slow steady return as people test the water on the way back up. and program buying will be right back in, quicker than it went out.
