Vlad....I think you are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel ...it's good eps in the 3rd qtr...long term this will pay off for Vivus and the stockholders.

And if you look further out to yr 2000 with expanded capacity in the Ireland plant...termination of the Paco contract, lower production cost and ALIBRA....the value based on yr 2000 EPS is higher than Vivus could sell the company for today.

My gut feeling is that we will have a sales partner by the end of the 3rd qtr.

JNJ doesn't have much time. If they express their intention to acquire in opem market or start buying in the market, brokerages will be the first to know and they will raise the price. That is the reason they like a private negotiation with Leland. If JNJ waits till 3Q and if 3Q earnings come out better, then market will go up anyway and JNJ will end up paying much more. This is the time to negotiate favorably because the price is low. IMO. Better make it fast or else...
