Gus, its August and your wild card hit.

RE: reply 3078

<<My experience has been that August is a great time to start building a position in a stock.
The great wildcard this year is, what else, Asia. >>

Hope AMPEX can capitalize on the downturn in stock prices. And not have to spend 10X sales or greater for next acquistion of HOT web hosters.

Swamp Fox.

Randy, it has gotten uglier indeed ....you sure were right.

hhhaaaa, cute joke.
ferrari, indeed.

odd as it may seem, these last few days
( fri, mon & most significantly today) have
provided an opportunity for me to make a
few trades, thus breaking what has no doubt
been a prolonged streak of bad fortune, for
lack of a better word (excuse?).

i am not sure why, and it doesn't happen very
often, but somehow initiating oex puts(versus trading
equities) has often been a profitable venture for me.
however, i am not about to push my newfound luck
as it were.

maybe it has to do with recognizing inevitability in the
broader sense of the market, and finding if i am removed
from any particular issue and its inherent character, i am
free to trade solely on TA triggers...i guess i won't question
it too closely. it was a much needed psychological lift,
having felt no less than damned in the last few months.

it is my sincere hope, for you & for all here,
that this juggernaut has not extracted any undue pain.
it may be best to keep a very low profile for a time
& survey the damage when it's over.

best regards,

randy
