"Then I guess Bob being used by God to save me, through the Old Testament, is a horrible deed."

That is a distortion what I am saying. Bob is trying to make a new theolgy about evangelization. His theology states that: we do not need the New Testament to preach the Gospel.
This is false.

The reason I say your words a distortion is because I have stated before more than once that I honor, respect and consider holy the method that Steve used to bring you to Christ. What I am challenging is Bob's attempt at making a theology that states that: It is not necessary to use the New Testament for evangelization. This is a false statement, PEROD! This is an attack upon the holy Word of God--in the New Testament. This is not the method the Jewish Apostles and disciples used to minister to the Jews of the first century.

I would like to make another very important point. I have known hundreds of Jews personally and have never known one who knew or believed in the Old Testament. I met a couple that were very hot on the Babylonian Talmud etc. Jesus said "If they believed in Moses they would believe in me." This new method of evangelization without the NT assumes that most Jews read, know and believe in the Old TEstament. This is simply false.
You were obviously different, Steve, because you believed in the Old Testament. The other Jews who do will find the Messiah as you did.

If almost no Jews believe in the Old Test., then how will you prove the Messiah to them in a book in which they have no faith.

Let me tell you an interesting story about someones salvation. My wife and her friend were evangelizing a young woman at work. This young woman was wild and disrespectful of eveything. The Lord showed my wife and her friend the evangelist that this young woman would be saved. So they continued their witness. One day the young pagan wanted to have a wild bit of fun so she invited my wife and the other evangelist to go and have a beer after work. My wife and her friend told her they would let her know later in the day. At lunch time they decided they would go and have a beer with her after work. They went, had a beer and during their conversation the young woman broke down and accepted Christ. We must do as the Holy Spirit leads in every situation but we must not come back and make a new theology out of this one experience.

May the Lord help us with our slow minds weak faith.

In the love of Christ
Emile
