re: Acampora - I agree. He has flopped his bull/bear predictions too many times recently to get much credibility. Using the T/A like he does one can often get whipsawed. I'm surprised it took him this long though, the small and mid caps have been in bear market for a few months already.

I'll wait for Joe Granville to call for a bear market before confirming a real market bottom.

I agree on the Acom"can'tspellhisname"poro Call - He changes his mind every other month - The market rally's and he says it is going higher, market swoons and he says look out below - Try this one out next time Ralph - When the market is going up - Make a call about when it is going to go down, Anyone can say look out below after the market drops 700 points .....

NOESIS Forecast Update

On Monday NOESIS upgraded the projected low crude price from $8.00 to $8.50. Technical details are provided in support of this projection. Looks like things won't get that bad if Congress authorizes significant purchases of oil for the SPR... oil-gasoline.com

Regarding Ralph Acampora: For a brief time earlier this year he projected the DOW to hit 6,000 in the second half due to the Asian crisis. Later he changed his mind and said we would hit 10,000 in July. Sheesh, his forecast goes up and down faster than Clinton's zipper at an intern convention!
