>>First, I hope from my heart that your Dad is doing better!!!<<
Yes, he is!!! Thanks! He is doing so well that I went out racing tonight and earning bragging rights at the bar!

>>The Dow: I think that people are in for a surprise. The 30 stocks that make up the dow have lost aprox. 7% to 9% from the peak. The broader market is some 20%-30% from the peak. If the Dow is representative of the market as a whole.......make your own conclusions.<<

So much money has gone into index funds that the broad market indices are distorted as an indication of economic strength or weakness, IMHO. Furthermore, if investor confidence weakens to the point where investors move from index funds to more conservative vehicles, it will put tremendous pressure on the market, because these funds have little cash. They will have to sell every one of their stocks to maintain their index, driving the overall market down further, and I fear we may be in for a much larger correction than people think. OTOH, this should not directly affect DGIV. It might even help DGIV, if foreign money flows out of US funds into international companies.

>>DGIV was 1% below yesterday's close until 3:55 when a sell order for 900 shares swung the price straight from the ask to the bid to end where we all can see. Yesterday they did a quick uptick, today a quick down tick. DGIV as a growing business still moves on, regardless of these little games....<<

Yes, very astute. These movements are all technical and have little to do with DGIV's fundamentals.

>>I feel I have to disagree with you about WV. If they are out of "the loop", well too bad. It's their job to be in the loop and to try, through their expertise, to generate value for their client. I really think this is not the case.<<

Most companies handle their own PR rather than outsource them. What if DGIV is moving towards doing their own PR, and WV is becoming a vestigial appendage? Not saying it is, just wondering.
