I wouldn't worry about Asia/deflation vis-a-vis the biotech sector, because that is about the least exposed area of the market. If it hurts biotech, you can bet some big banks will be going bust, too. To me, the biggest risk factors are:

1. The government and/or the market place decides that health care costs are out of control again, and we get Hillary Part II.

2. Mr. Market is right, that Big Pharma really does have a big edge on little biotech in getting drugs through the FDA, and in marketing them.
