News Report--More Insight into Mess--Not Positive Wonder what the issues are? Wonder if we are going to get hit more on the downside when these issues are disclosed. From the San Jose Mercury News Beyer, reached at home Monday, says he has no immediate job opportunities on the horizon and he had left because of ''some issues that have arisen and that it was appropriate to move on.'' He declined to comment on the company's now-ended discussions with LSI. As bad as things look, the last shoe likely hasn't dropped at VLSI. The company has yet to announce the resignation last week of its former general counsel and secretary, Larry Grant.
