John....Thanks, I'll check my e-mail in a minute...I've been scouring the wires for news, especially as to afterhours quotes....Here's something from WSJ: (They say AOL up to 118 3/4 afterhours)
------------------------------------------------------------------
NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Late traders pounced on shares of America Online Inc. (AOL) Tuesday after the company reported stronger-than-expected fourth-quarter earnings after the close of the regular session.

Shares leapt up 7 13/16, or 7%, afterhours to 118 3/4. The stock was off 5 1/16, or 4.4%, at 110 15/16 on the day.

The on-line services company reported operating earnings of 23 cents a diluted share in its fiscal fourth quarter, beating the First Call estimate by 4 cents and far surpassing last year's earnings of 3 cents a share.

Cisco Systems Inc.'s (CSCO) shares edged higher afterhours, pushed by strong fourth-quarter earnings and the announcement of a 3-for-2 stock split.

The computer networking company reported operating net of 48 cents a share in the fourth quarter ended July 25, a penny higher than the First Call estimate.

The stock switched hands at 93 3/16 afterhours, up from its earlier settlement of 93 1/8. It closed the regular session down 3 3/8, or 3.5%, on heavy volume.

Shares of Mobil Corp. (MOB) were off slightly in late trading after the company announced it agreed to swap some domestic upstream assets with Atlantic Richfield Co. (ARC).

Mobil shares turned over at 65 1/8 afterhours, down 1/8 from its earlier settlement. The stock ended the regular session down 2 1/16, or 3.1%, at 65 3/16 on about twice its usual daily volume.

John, other sources mentioned here and elsewhere say afterhours AOL was trading down.....Who knows?......Tomorrow will be a brand new day....One thing for sure, if an investor wants to hold on to quality through any kind of correction or bear market AOL is CERTAINLY one that won't do you wrong....
