MikeM, This is only my personal observation, so don't take it for gospel. GDC is not hopelessly lost, IMO, rather, they are very comfortable doing what they do with the customers that they have, and I sense that the customers they have in hand are comfortable with them too. The International Telecomm Carrier business is peculiar that way sometimes, as is the case in other industries where relationships are formed over long stretches of time.

They play it safe, selling to the same independent telcos and international PTTs year after year, and my impression is, after visiting their locations in CT some time back, that they are not in this for the rat-race risk-reward dynamics that one would expect from an aggressive startup or upandcomer. In a way, the characterization that someone else offered about the concentrated levels of control of stock would then make sense if they were not in this for the adventure or the ride up, as much as they are in it for doing business as usual, year after year. All IMHO. Frank C.
