Re: How low

Whenever a stock breaks its 50 DMA, the 200 DMA usually provides the next test. When the 200 DMA is broken (as RNTK did a couple of weeks back) I usually look to the 200 week moving average. RNTK's 200 WMA currently sits at 7/8.

A test of the 200 WMA would not be unusual given that RNTK's 50 DMA is about to cross below its 200 DMA within the next couple of days. This last happened in May 1997 and is generally considered a sign of technical weakness.

All things considered, RNTK is holding up OK, IMO. At least it's beating the Naz.
For the past 5 days, the NASDAQ is down 1.3% more than RNTK.

TECHNICALLY SPEAKING

If we go through this support (1.06-.94) the next support level is at .75-.78) If the deal is still "in a holding pattern" at the end of SEP and the fall continues at the same pace we would be at .75 level. The 1.25 level is fairly critical. If we lose it and break below 1 with dilution continuing and the deal unclosed we should expect to drift down toward the .75 zone.

Of course we have to get through .94 first and the dollar zone support should be strong. Given what has been said here, it doesn't seem likely that the sell off will have enough time to get below .94.

The market is of course critical to support for RNTK. I'm sorry M is throwing in the towel now. We must be close to the bottom for the Russell 2000 (if this is a correction and not the beginning of a bear). If not, we should see a small rally at this down-20%-level before this small cap sell off continues. It is hard to see the disaster that it would take to get the Russell to break through the 400 level with out a bounce or pause. But maybe the current uncertainty about the President is all that is needed on top of the slow down and Japan/asia worries.

Anyway, the fundamentals are still positive and if the DJIA holds 8400 and more importantly, the Russell 2000 holds the 400 zone. (IMHO it will) THEN

RNTK WILL HOLD $1.00 --- till TX calls the deal off.

You can't always just trust yourself. I'm buying in till we break .94 or $1.67.

Good luck to us all on the deal.
