Michael: THE MARKET IS NOT TOUGH TO FIGURE OUT, IF....... you have the right time frame. When I was a broker, back in the dark ages (before desk tops) and my clients would come in on an afternoon like this one - wringing their hands (the sky is falling)...I would ONCE AGAIN ask if "we" weren't in this for the LONG HAUL??? "Oh yes, Don!"............then I would pull out the Security Research - Long Term "Log" Charts.... we would look at BMY, JNJ, MMM or some such....and I would say, "see this sell off back in 19xx - was that a time to panic or hold, or buy more?" Granted, WE ARE ALL GENIUS' in hind- sight. But, the folks who own Berkshire know what Warren's philosophy is: BUY GOOD COMPANIES, IN GROWTH AREAS, RUN BY HONEST, ABLE FOLKS and SIT ON THE POSITION!!!!! Just MHO, Best, Don
