When they make acquisitions, like today, that I cannot fully comprehend, I interpret that
to mean that I do not have a full vision of what this company is going to be.

Tom,

Good to see you around. I have scratching my head trying to figure out the reasons for these acqusitions. I have no clue.

AMZN certainly has succeeded in winning the confidence of a lot of deep pockets with
connections. I wonder how much these connections matter. The deep pockets seem
content to bankroll a lot of losses.

I believe the deep pockets will be out with gains as the bankrolling will have come from the shallow pocket investor. That appears to be the plan. I really do not know. I admit to a great deal of confusion regarding the acquisitions. I find no business plan. Candidly, Amazon has lost me from a fundamental point of view.

Glenn

Hi Tom, Very nicely said, I think the story is just beginning to unfold. Visibility is improving ...

Cerebral synapse firing raised by today's announcement...has me very excited...

To me...it doesn't matter what it costs...to build something great.

I think Bezo's has studied the best, learned from failures, and his time has come. Aol marketing as percent of revenues down to 12 percent. Ask Steve Case if it matters what it costs to build something great. It simply does not matter what it costs. But people will just not believe. They have not seen the Destination. They have not traveled the road so they simply cannot understand.

The intricacies of the associations announced today...have my mind in a whirlwind.
