Anita Hill wrote two books and a videotape.
She also got a professorship out of it.
I don't have the time to look up how many magazine features she got out of it.

Anita sold her story repeatedly and even wrote a book.

pezz: It's interesting that Anita Hill claimed sexual harassment due to Thomas' using 'dirty words' in the workplace-'pubic hair on coke can, Long Dong Silver' and such nonsense. She never even claimed he touched her. She claimed at the time she wasn't doing it for the money nor would she. After the hearings she then went on speaking tours to campuses around the country charging $15K a pop and never a mention she gave it away to any causes. One 'progressive' campus couldn't afford the fee but invited her anyway offering a lower fee-she declined. Not to mention her book, etc. I've noticed when I see her these days she dresses in the most expensive outfits-no doubt due to her new found wealth.

It's true Willey severely compromised her credibility when she came out with the story after approaching a broker about a book deal. She would have been much more believable if she hadn't. But, if standards were equal then Hill's credibility would also be severely questioned after the fact, but except for a few publications, The Real Anita Hill, she's escaped unscathed.

What's interesting in all the finger pointing about taking the 'high ground' about not making money as a motivation for 'coming out' is that the only people I can think of who've made lots of dough, and will make, publishing their lurid stories are sanctimonious, elitist liberals. Can you provide instances of big bucks from the right? I honestly can't think of one-not to say there aren't.
