I would think this is a signifigant sized network for NN to build. To take a look at the existing Newbridge installed Network with IXNET, take a look at:

newbridge.com

This contract is hot on the heels of Moscow, Singapore, and Korea.

If anyone lives in Canada, and caught the Globe & Mail today, there was an article on Comdev. Comdev (A Satellite Company) is working with Newbridge (via their Spacebridge Networks affiliate) to assist in the technology development of the next generation of Satellite communications.

The article specifically mentioned "SPACEBRIDGE" ; and a potential contract with ALCATEL for their low level constellation satellites in Europe. (approx 80 satellites)

You've got to figure with Q1 results a few weeks away, more big news must be in offing.

I agree it's nice to see someone of Robertson Stephens' reputation getting behind NN. I suspect H&Q will come out with support eventually as they have an analyst following it internally.

I'm guessing some are waiting for earnings before jumping on board.

Later --
