Bob, Re "I imagine this person is in need of emergency treatment now. ;)"

It that me you're talking about?

Yes - I am feeling pain - but like an ostrich I refuse to look
up my account balances and quantify the damage.

So I still feel quite calm - does that mean more selling is needed?

That post became part of a larger post that was a warning to others to be careful in this market. At first, I came across flip, but then I realized what I was saying and changed the content, Jay. I then decided not to say anything and erase the post. But is looked like something went wrong where the original post was actually posted to SI. I have had this happen once before. Probably something I did.

It is just that many seem to be taken this correction lightly when it has already been significant with technical damage that will not go away tomorrow. Today will help determine the actual extend of the technical damage if the market closes below 8550 again. Other stocks may still fall. This can include DELL for instance. Still, we may get a bounce that I would not go long on except perhaps for a day trade for the stock market has not formed a bottom yet.

I am sorry. In my frustration poor judgement got the best of me, which something you and others here did not deserve. I had changed it, and then decided not to post at all, which apparently did not work. I do now know if the message I was replying to came from you. I was not attempting to address my thoughts to you. I was addressing the thought to the group here and no individual. But I am finding out it is best to let things unwind of their own accord. And be there to help where I can.

Just be careful. OK? This market can be very deceiving to those who are familliar with the way the market was in the recent past.
