Ron, It would be interesting to check a tape of the Acompora
interview to see how much the DJIA declined during the
interview. It seemed like a rapid decline at the time, and it
didn't seem as though Acompora redeemed himself, if that was
his motive for agreeing to the interview. His response about
reversing himself yesterday "after going back upstairs and
checking their data" seemed pretty weak.

Forget it, Ron. You should've B-slapped Ralphie senseless for letting his own confusion spill over into the market.

He's lost his way this year, and someone at CNBC needs to take him to task. You should've done it, but you didn't. Maybe CNBC needs to borrow from the NHL and hire a goon who won't mind burning a few bridges for the sake of loyal viewers who deserve better.

Still a fan, all the way back to when you had hair <ggg>.

Thanks for responding Ron. I have the highest respect for you as a journalist and my past threads clearly reflect that. Its a shame that you happened to see the one message where I had a minor criticism. Some friends of mine from CSUN will be stoked you responded. Keep em honest and keep up the good fight...good job on Silverman from CD BTW

Dear Ron, I work at home and have been a CNBC watcher since 1990. Could you please answer, why 5 minutes before the Taking Stock segment do you ask people to call?

I have called countless times and have never gotten through 30 minutes before Taking Stock. You know that with 5 minutes to go before the interview the question quota has been satisfied 20 plus minutes before.

TIA

Martin
