Have you tried to scan disc your c drive?
Also see if you need to defrag.
This is where I start when I have a problem it
has saved me many many times.

To solve that problem go to control panel and click on the network icon and add Client for Microsoft networks. If that is not in the box your computer wont save the password. It's a real pain typing in password all the time. Hope this helps.
