Hey Paul, open your eyes a little bit. Did you even catch a hint about the correction on

Wow - what a stupid set of questions to ask!

heres my simple answer why the stock tanked today.........don't overanalyze..... IT WAS THE MARKET PLAIN AND SIMPLE i like many funds and institutions was tempted today to sell one of my winners....its onl;y human when everything looks red and a pit is forming in your stomach.....those same knuckleheads that sell today will be buying before the trade even settles........

Paul, Paul, Paul....

Sweet nothings my dear so you can go to sleep this evening. Let's not get too worked up over your baby Novell. You love to hate her. It's in your blood.

This is a tremendous opportunity to buy more!!

Here is what I just shared over on MF.....

>>Mr FSmart IDA whoever you are I said as Bullish as I am That Novell would sell off more and you tpld me to s tell it to my family nad kids W ell as it turns out much to my disapointment its true and I blieve our earnings will be poor and our revenues poorer this qtr Then we will rise up the next too qtrs Just plain Common sense whether you like to hear it or not Bullish on Nove and Buying more and will add to my 5000 shares here>>

God Bless you son. My buys at $12 to that high tick $13 1/4 - not 3/8s - were kisses for all the $13 year-plus gippers out there. No soul is perfect. Keep up the good work. I'll be buying more down here, too. If you are going to be a bull on Novell, you have to be willing to sink your teeth into the face of uncertainty, look the bears in the eyes and say "gotcha"!

Some good news from a very respected source - a CEO who is wired all over the planet. He sent me this today:

"I spoke last night with a friend of mine who works at microsoft (he is about to leave). He has been working in the kernel group at nt and is convinced that no enterprise will deploy nt 5.0 in the year 2000! At more than 40 million lines of code, he believes it will be a long time
if ever that nt 5.0 will be fully deployable. Instead, nt 4.0 service pack 6 will be microsoft's real chance at keeping market share. This is a huge opportunity for Schmidt to reposition and extend netware as equally if not more functional than NT. I think the gods are smiling
on novell now!"

In less than two weeks the bearish case has suddenly found a thousand fathers. Let the market speek. Stay humble. But buy more Novell! Novell's turnaround is going to be truly amazing.

Paul, you left off the

nahner-nahner-nahner part.

Maybe it's just the usual quarterly manipulation prior to the pre-earnings run up?

Fiondella

Good to know you're still around!! We need ya!

Since you publish your positions we end up learning as much from your mistakes as from our own. Guess you covered too early at 12+: did you have Asia in mind when you did it?

Since you need to be reassured here it goes again: I'm buying. In fact I'm buying calls and selling puts.

Victor

PS. I still enjoy your posts. One of my favorite TV characters is George Castanza (of Seinfeld's fame).

I think the NOVL bears owe this thread an explanation

Well what is their explanation of NOVL's gaining 9.82% today?
How do they explain a gain of 1 on the eve of the Netware 5.0 announcement?

If it is the general market then explain why Novell went up 9.82%, more than any other major software company?
