Jim and ALL:

Notwithstanding all of CNBCs failings,
just how big an impact does CNBC have
negative or otherwise,
on INTC shares. Or the "market"?
NYSE,NASD etc.
I don't expect empirical evidence,
but simply the thoughts of
the august SI fellowship.

Regards
P

<<When CNBC needs new entertainment they will build up someone else.>>

Good observation, it truly is entertainment. I wonder more and more if there is really any impact of CNBC and message boards. My gut says no, there is so much money out there, as an example, think about all of the Japanese money out there fleeing a languishing economy, next to zero interest rate, and a stock market going nowhere. The second largest economy in the world has got to have a little influence on the market. And do you think they read boards on Yahoo or watch CNBC? I think not...
