Pat,I listened to the conference call, one of the analysts specifically asked Mr. Chambers about Carrier core switching and their position. He and the other guy Listwin admitted that most of the " US carriers already made their decision to go with ASND". they took a beating there and they said they will try to get some european Telcos. They admitted that they DO NOT have and will not expect to have a competing product in Core switching until next year. They had no choice but admit that they lost that Ist round in carrier market. Mr. Chambers also said Mory did a good job by picking up SRA. I love the way he waffled when questioned about ATT fiasco affecting their last Q customer wins. I must admit, Mr.Chambers is damn good salesman, can sell my used car to me as new. That's what you need these days. But Carriers want reliability, QOS and fault-tolerant networks, which never fails. WHoever can produce will win big. BR
