The dust is settling...

I now have only a few more positions to mop up and some money to
shift from one account to another.

On June 20 1998 when I wrote reply #2359 (an essay on options)
my portfolio had a liquidation value $436,000 after starting with
$80,000 only 8 months before.
I was arrogant and out of control.

As near as I can tell, I will have to deposit another $5,000 to get to zero.
I still have other investments, my house, my job and my family.

I am well.
I am still in shock and mourning.

It was only money.
Nobody died.
I didn't lose my future, I only changed it.

I will miss the fun and ability to "move the market"
far more than I will miss the money.

I am going to Europe for the next 2 weeks and be with my family.
I'll check back in when I get back.

You all be careful out there.
