shareholders activism on Winspear Resources thread (Canadian Mining)
www3.techstocks.com
... What is new is the inkling that the Net will provide
the ability to organize farflung shareholders to demand
changes in policies of public companies.
We're just seeing the first traces of this trend now,
and it could turn into a motherlode.......
(Hopefully the ipmcf shareholders can not only join this trend,
but be one of the most sucessful or most influential for positive
change. Someday all public companies will worry about shareholders
options. Rather than a few show up once a year and talk critical
to the top management(who all wear ear plugs), each shareholder that
wants to voice an option can join a SI and talk about (indirectly, to)
the companies policies. But first corporate management has to feel
the sting and consequences by these first examples. IPM may be a small
company, but the scope of our activities touch many bases, and as I
said a couple weeks ago, if we do what we want to do, then these two
threads will be read by other troubled threads looking for help and
guideness.

OK, thanks, Doug. I went there and bookmarked it. John and I will put our heads together to see what we can come up with.

Stay cool........
