Shawn: Packwood voted for every women's legislation presented before him. He was recognized as a big women's rights supporter. As such he would have easily skated through his scandals except for the biggest evil of all...he's a Republican. I'll never forget the leaders of the women's movements publicly stating that even though they recognize the Kennedy's were/are womanizers and slimey they are to be forgiven for all the good they've done legislatively for them. The real differentiator, though, is they are Democrats and come from general vicinity of Camelot...this being consistent since the Dems seem to live half their lives in a fantasy world anyway. halfscot
