offtopic-hwp> Not only HWP tripped, but morale is now down too there. Also, their downplaying advt. (Worried?) tactics for Digital UNIX back-fired big time I heard, now that the powerful UNIX product is in the marketing-capable hands of CPQ and they are going ahead with it very aggressively ... HWP getting squeezed-out on all frontiers imho. Sorry to see this- once a jewel and street darling company - go down and hit its 52-week low yesterday! When CPQ moves, market understands!

Sonny.

>>>Go back a look at why that is. CSCO will perform. HWP tripped<<<

Gary... I'm not saying CSCO is HWP just that analysts recommendations should not be given much weight when evaluating a stock... I mean these guys are "professionals" and put out a "STRONG BUY" rating on HWP just days before it "tripped"... Do you think they apologized to everyone who bought on their rec. after it cratered?

FWIW I think CSCO is one of those "foundation" stocks and that every portfolio should have CSCO in it... I took profits at $101 a couple of weeks ago and will buy back when the sky stops falling... Despite a decent qtr. I think CSCO is headed down for awhile...
