So many issues to address! No-one has ever accused me of having socialist ideas before, even though I suspect that any government who completely avoided social programs would soon be left without a nation to govern. Certainly, we could start by eliminating retirement benefits for those who already own a home and have a livable income. I think maybe we agree on more points than you expect, except for the idea that people are too stupid to know what is best for them. Maybe your ideas could be expressed in a way that made people really believe that they would be better off. If most people agree than those ideas become government policy.
