The pattern of weekly fob port of lading prices for oil during July was: July 03 $11.00 July 10 $11.17 up 17 cents July 17 $11.30 up 13 cents July 24 $11.49 up 19 cents July 31 $11.90 up 41 cents Marching along like a little drummer boy. Slider, I have been saying the same thing for the last 5 years...Do the opposite of what the market is doing , when the Nasdaq hit an Intraday HIGH of 2028 on 7/21/98, all those "ANALYST" at those reputable brokerage firms were saying Buy! Buy! Buy!....They were all over CNBC and CNfn...talking about the advance decline line, and the "TECHNICALS" were looking good, etc...while they were SELLING...Now , well the market is down 8-10% on some averages and most stocks are down 20-50%.....Ah what do they do....they go on CNBC and CNfn and talk about the averages and the technicals and tell you SELL! SELL! SELL!....look for an additional 20% downdraft, but clarify ,that when it is all said and done(and you have sold at a lost), then it will be a good buying oportunity,and what are they doing now.....Thats right! You guessed it.....................
