Bill, I was once an MTEI investor, and have been around MTEI a long, long time. I've posted here long ago...owned stock before the thread got embroiled into the "mob" death threats....sold my shares several months ago when I had doubts about the company, didn't air my concerns, just quietly sold and went my merry way. My continued interest in MTEI stems from my owning a large portion of shares in EDII...check out the thread...I have been there for MONTHS posting. As soon as I caught wind of trouble over here with MTEI, I checked it out for fear of associated mud slinging in EDII's direction. I would be a fool not to be concerned about this past association and what backlash it might cause my portfolio earnings. Kristi was contacted by another individual who posts to her on AOL, he asked that she post on SI as he did not have an account with SI nor desired to have one. Having had contact with this person on numerous other occasions, she did him a favor and made a local call to George Guttman and posted some information for him. Prior to the other day, she'd never had ANY contact with George Guttman. In addition to doing a friend a favor, her interests also lie in the fact that she is an EDII shareholder. Those of us on the EDII thread have worked very hard in keeping the MTEI scandal off of the EDII thread...and irresponsible posts which just sling accusations, without supportive proof cause a great deal of harm to many people. Accusing Kristi of having personal connections to Gort or Guttman is absurd...just as you will find his other post to be. Accusations are not fact....don't get emotional about mud slinging....there have been several posts on this thread that lead you in a different direction..I suggest you check them out before being swayed one way or another. Slander and personal malicious attacks are not useful tools for investing.
