I need to see at least a 200 point swing in the TICK, in the opposite direction of the reversal which will give me about a 5 minute lead. I know it sounds confusing and please understand that there are also other issues of concern.

For simplicity - lets say the both the UP & DOWN MOMENTUM are even and have a reading .55, which is common. Now lets say that the market moves down but DOWN-MOMENTUM is reduced dramatically to .20 or lower, the chances are very good that the UP-MOMENTUM will be greater than .55 and could rise strongly.

Its more complicated than that but its the basic principle. There is a lead time which is good.
