Timbur--
Look at the insider trading record. The directors and officers of Cendant were selling stock like crazy in March and April of this year. Plus a select few insiders were let into the loop, as well.

They knew what was in store for them, and got out before the axe could fall. Is that ethical? I don't care. I doubt I'd ever invest in this company, so I won't debate its leadership's faults.

My beef is with ValueSpec--he will march onto any thread he wants to declare such-and-such company's management is "suspect." "I don't trust them....they don't impress me...blah, blah, blah." Then he takes up the cause of a company with obviously suspicious management?!?

He had to expect some flak from this, and I am gladly firing it. You don't know the depth of enmity that this former gardener has earned here on SI, Timbur. I don't wish to bore you any further, so good day.

Cheers!
Rick
