Patti, The reason I am bringing up operating cost when you ask about weight is because I know the installation cost has to be factored into the life of the magnet as the weight of these things makes this a major expense. Dan Culver told me at one time not to long ago that the cost of the new GE units doubled when you added installation. Instinctively that sounds high to me ( depends if you pay $1 million or $5million for your unit). And as many a GE customer has learned buying from GE is kind of like buying an airline ticket, the guy next to you probably paid 1/2 what you paid....
