Hi Gregg , I'm stepping out of my cave for a momemt to ask a question. Last week an article from an Asian press site stated that in the first half of 1998 3.5 billion have been spent on telecommunications by Asian countries. They claimed 95 % of that was on GSM. Does any of your research disagree with that seemingly very high percentage ?

Also in our Sunday Tribune a article really made me realize how bad some Asian countries are doing. It was about our grain farmers and how much grain they didn't sell last year with hopes for better prices in 1998. It said in Indonesia the the ruler asked the people to fast two days a week to cut back on grain imports. At that point I thought chances are slim and none for anyone to do tele business over there. A few days later I read were Indonesia had a minus 10% build out of tele last year and that one of their ministers said there won't be anything done there for around 5 years.

I hope that type of poverty doesn't spread through out the whole Asian community.

Regards

Jim
