Muffy grabbed the phonebook. The Yellow Pages, to be exact.

She looked in the section titled "Small Appliances". For the next hour, she called all the listings in that section and asked each of them if they had free delivery services. Several, after a brief period of silence, just hung up on her, thinking it was another one of those kids playing a practical joke.

She finally found one that provided free delivery. After they discussed what she needed, the clerk suggested an electric model, complete with a really long extension cord. "Why electric, and why an extension cord?", asked Muffy. "Well, for starters", replied the clerk, "you'll never again run out of batteries. And the extension cord is for use in those hotel rooms where there's no outlet close to wherever you're watching the cable channel from."

Muffy agreed. She gave the clerk her credit card number, the name of the Hotel, and her room number. "Oh, and please have one of your younger delivery guys handle this transaction."

The clerk snickered, agreed, and hung up the phone.

Muffy decided to take a nap and rest up for future activities.

Later that morning, there was a knock on her door.
