During CSCO's conference call last night, CEO Chambers said, in response to a question, that the optical end of of networking was one of the few where Cisco planned to partner with others(namely CIEN), rather than compete in, themselves. He said that he anticipated an ongoing relationship with TLAB/CIEN, rather than competing with them, but that it also depends on what TLAB wants. His comments on CIEN were probably more positive, than those of any other company that was mentioned, in my opinion. In other words, TLAB shouldn't be considered competitors with CSCO, and I didn't get that impression for many other networking or telecom equipment companies.

Hey Chuzz: BUY, BUY, BUY, NOW, NOW, NOW.

Since you're always saying you can't time the market, I thought I'd give you that little tip. <ggg>

This is a real good time to buy. Tlab. Psft. Hboc. Neta. Ctxs. Wcom (actually Mcic gives a bit of vig.). All sorts of stuff.

This is a market timing call. Just thought I'd make that clear. <gg>
