Walt,
As we speak the spread has narrowed: 9 x 9 3/8!!! However it remains to be seen what stability obtains, as a trade of a few thousand shares has in the past dramatically changed the price of ATPX.

Walt, you're right. The low vol. is not the only reason for the big spread. Lack of MM support is also a factor. There is no MM buying of shares. This is very easy to prove. Most of the time, orders to buy or sell in between the spread become the bid or ask and just sit there.
Just my opinion.
