Also if the Blue Chips do sale off which stocks will the fund managers jump right back in for to catch the bounce? CSCO, DELL, LU, MSFT

Looks like a good group to me.

Also some sector focus could prove profitable once they show some signs of recovery. Semi's and Oil are way down already. But I like to keep it simple and your big four above look excellent.

It might take a month or more before the dust settles and we can see if we are on solid ground. We've got a Fed meeting coming up, and August is often a slow month anyway. The congress is putting pressure on Janet Reno to appoint another special prosecuter for the campaign financing investigation. This could put more pressure on Clinton which seems to be the media's favorite excuse as to why the market is selling off. (I think the real reason is it is relatively overvalued from an historical fundamental perspective.)
