Sprint and U.S. West chose Cisco equipment this year to combine voice and data traffic on their networks. Company's gross margin widened to 65.7% from 65.1% a year ago.

You wouldn't have done too bad being long YHOO and WLA this year.

Compaq was another story, they were digesting inventory and the
acquisition of DEC.

I bought CSCO aggressively today. We touched the 200 DMA and I always buy when that happens. Fingers are crossed. This was nasty selloff, I thought it didn't last long enough, but also felt there
was sufficient fear to make it a good time to buy.
