For you Compaq fans you might want to check out a new partner with your company as an investment. Sand Technology {sndcf} is a company offering solutions in the data warehouse field which is growing quickly. Sand has been a DEC partner and is working also with Wyle in Europe. Wyle is a very large DEC oem. Sand has no debt and is breaking even while growing internally in a big way to service its partners. Compaq is making a large effort to get into this field. Sands software runs on the 64 bit chip as well as the 32. Just released its Win NT software. Worth a good look, lots of possibilities, just no recognition or sponsorship.
