I agree. I also have never heard him say that he will send out a sell signal by overnight mail.

Bob has talked about overnight mail in a different context - when a caller is concerned about the inability to do telephone switches of index funds at Vanguard and the possible delay in using snail mail to instruct them to sell, Bob has suggested that the CALLER use overnight mail to send the sell request to the mutual fund company.

I do not, however, see anything in this pullback that would cause Bob to issue a sell signal. If anything, (imo) it will cause Bob to become more bullish and believe the bull market will keep going. The causes of this pullback - lower earnings, lower gdp, etc - illustrate that the economy is moderating. This reduces excessive growth pressures, reduces inflation pressures, and will keep the Fed on the sideline. If it moderates too much, all the Fed has to do is lower interest rates.

The energizer bunny keeps going & going & going.

For some, the late cascading markets have doubtless borne blessed
opportunity, for others the rankest of fruits. Howsoever that may
be, more than a few of us, I daresay, have marveled at the sudden
appearance of many fresh names here at the Brinker thread. Surely,
this is clear testimony to the simmering popularity of this topic, and
the recent boil-over of interest is most welcome. It is hoped that
some of our new writers may elect to join the ranks of the regulars
in the ongoing discussion.

RE: "I've never heard him say that, and I'm a regular listener."
++++++++++++++
How do you think subscribers will get the word ahead of listeners or anybody else ? A caller asked this same question, BB answered but since you are a "regular listener", I won't bother repeating it.
