no gann, fib or anything too fancy. Just horizontal S&R (ie magnets) and trendlines which are created on magnet signal days. If many trendlines meet in one area it should add to the volatility of the stock or index as the price moves through the lines. Same with magnets, if there is a high concentration of magnets the power becomes increased. For example, some time ago I mentioned the high concentration of magnets sitting over the S&P500. the levels are 1127.7, 1181.8, 1290.1, 1300, 1309.8. The normal spread between magnets is in the 200-300 range for the s&p 5. This concentration of magnets creates one big magnetic field will take one heck of a surge to get through.

Another note with the magnets: magnets given in strong markets (1127.7 and 1181.8) may provide more resistance than those given in weaker markets. This is just a possibility. The reasoning behind it is that the magnets that were given from 87-88 were met in 95. Needless to say they provided very little in terms of resistance. On the other hand the magnets given in 95 1127 and 1181 are proving to be quite strong.

volume has little to do with the magnet itself. If I get good volume on a magnet signal day and the signals all happen close to one another a good run generally happens. Many times stocks have doubled in less than 1 month.
