Would you say Bond is a crook because he goes around murdering, stealing, destroying.

Bond is a screen persona, and I believe, should not be confused and compared with real-life people. What Bond does on the screen is mostly for entertainment and very little of what he does, is related to real-life intelligence work. I assume that you posed that question in a light-hearted & jocular manner. I would like to be pampered like Bond<GGG>
