Good point. This sector is very volatile and it does seem to pay to have a portion of your holdings allocated to short term trades (to be sold after the stock has had a 20% - 25% or so run up ) and a longer term core holding since the industry's long term prospects are fairly bright. Short term, the stock price movement is often erratic and seemigly irrational. I believe we are currently suffering the effects of both the negative market sentiment as well as the SCI earnings announcement.
