Steven, I personally wouldn't buy August call options.
Today is already August 5th. Many professional option
players will be looking to roll over their option
positions from August to Sept next week, if they are
not already positioning themselves right now. By
rolling over, I mean selling the August calls and
buying the equivalent strike price in September.
So not only do you have time against you (ie August
expiration), but you also have supply against you
as option players holding the call position seek to
reclaim whatever premium they can and roll it over
to the next month. As Iacastra says, Just my opinion.
Good luck. Peter.
