Joey,

How's that for a buying surge??

Naz: closes up 2.33, roaring up about 30 points in last 30 minutes.
Dow: closes up 59.47, also roaring at the finish. (Took a long time to get final numbers -- must have been a pile of trades to clear at the end of the day)...

Thread: Did Ralphie change his mind again at 3:30? Someone sure did...

Joey,
RE:"Does this qualify as panic selling yet???
DAQ off another 30 points in the last half hour, Dow about 100
points..."

You are too young to know what panic selling is.
Today was quite orderly and the pseudo bears even got a gift opportunity about 15 minutes before the bell...The only thing remotely close to a panic was the 165 point runup in the last 10 minutes.
Fear of being left behind.

Jim

Joey - re: "Does this qualify as panic selling yet??? "

Since I am answering this at 4:38 DST, yes !

This action separates the traders from their money - and investors can ride out the storm - or buy in at sale prices.
