Bill, Hope you don't mind the brevity...haven't all the drive makers put out improved products all year, especially in relation to capacity? What has happened to ASP's???? I agree with some on this thread that the only way out of this spiral is a shakeout. Who that will be we have yet to see, but the pricing wars probably will continue until someone yells uncle, or nothin' in shipped into some of the channels for a whole quarter. How would that sit with investors? We've got our software revenues, boys, but we had to skip a quarter of booking revenues on the desktop side so we could blow out the inventory. Sorry. 2 cents once again. Scott P.S. Stitch, I agree. I'm on the sidelines for at least a couple of quarters here...its ugly. I know this doesn't sound like a rosy picture to most (or all) its the state of the industry. Picking a bottom is troublesome.
